Mme M. is a young mother of three children who is affected by a cancerous disease. Her and her husband are both Bolivian. Their children were born in Geneva and have never been able to go to their country of origin to meet their whole family who lives there. Mme M.’s fight against the disease has been ongoing for the past few years and it is starting to weigh on her. One day, she tells her caregivers about her desire to travel to Bolivia to introduce her children to their grandparents, uncles, cousins, but also to celebrate their religious marriage. Unfortunately, with the treatments being very expensive for this family, such a trip is impossible for them without a little help. Our association had the pleasure of financing a part of this family trip. In this way, Mme M. and her family were able to take advantage of a real holiday far away from hospitals and treatments, in June 2015.
