In July 2013, we receive a call from one of the clinical specialists at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) about a young man of 16, living in neighboring France, who was just diagnosed with a brain tumor. Thibaut will spend a week in hospital waiting for his operation. As he is a big Olympique de Marseille (OM) fan, the Frédéric Fellay Association is able to organize a meeting with the OM players in Sierre (VS) (the team was in Switzerland for a training camp!). Unfortunately, the operation prevents this outing… With his mother, we keep this idea in our minds and plan it for a better time. The OM team coordinator, touched by Thibaut’s story, sends him a team poster signed by all the players to console him. In January 2014, Olympique de Marseille return to the region to play a Ligue match in Annecy against ETG. The Frédéric Fellay Association, with the support of one of its faithful members, was able to finance and organize this outing, in VIP seating, for Thibaut, his father and his two younger brothers.
